Religious Intolerance

Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the country has been divided by and subjected to a massive onslaught against the religious values upon which our country was founded. This was in an apparent attempt to prevent any sudden outbursts and violence against Muslims. We need to step back and take a look at what has happened so far, not only in the US, but also in Europe.

Granted, most of us do not know much about Islam. However, I am not one of those benighted individuals who is lacking in knowledge about this particular religion. I studied Islam when I was at Rice University.

Most practitioners of Islam are peaceful people. But it only takes one terrorist to mess everything up.

Most Islamic terrorists are cut from the same bolt of cloth that other relgious fundamentalists are cut from. There is no way to argue with them, and there is no way to deal with them other than incarceration.

Terroristic fundamentalists, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR RELIGION, are a danger to this country. They have already caused havoc in the Netherlands and in other European countries.

So, I propose the following:

Rules for Religious Fanatics

  • The first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America reads as follows:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This basically states that as long as we aren't breaking any laws, we can worship whatever higher power we choose to, we can say what we want to say, print what we want to print, broadcast what we want to broadcast, gather peaceably and petition the government when we feel they have stepped on our toes.
  • Any religion that teaches the killing of people who refuse to become members of their religion should be declared an official terrorist group, and all practitioners of that religion should be incarcerated.
  • This includes skinheads, madrassas, and any other bunch of loony idiots that claim that their invisible leader is the only invisible leader that is valid.
  • Anyone who attempts to move to this country from some other country where he has practiced or advocated purging people who practice religions he/she doesn't like shall be deported.
  • This country was founded upon religious freedom. Any religion that states that any other religion cannot be practiced freely shall be declared a terrorist group and its members treated as such, as long as the religion that is the target of their hatred does not violate any federal, state or local laws.
  • Neither Congress nor any other governmental body shall establish any law that restricts or regulates the free practice of any religion that does not violate the moral code set forth on this web site.
  • This is not to construe that any religion or its practitioners shall be allowed to go completely berserk when someone protests their practices within the bounds of freedom of speech. In other words, anyone who gets torqued about a joke or cartoon about any central religious character in their own religion, and advocates murder, terror or other violence as revenge or punishment shall be publicly flogged and mailed back home.
